Peter Friedman, CPA’s primary focus is on providing highly specialized services to our client base. The majority of our clients are also represented by law firms or other accounting firms that seek out our skills and experience to support the services they already provide.
Domestic tax compliance
Typically our clients face a greater than average audit risk, and rely on our technical expertise to minimize that risk, and provide adequate evidentiary support in the event of an audit.
International tax compliance and planning
Our approach is proactive. We work with the clients’ non-US tax advisors to minimize the total tax paid as opposed to minimizing US taxes without regard for world wide tax burden.
Both the criminal and civil litigation support is tax based. The single objective is to reduce the tax liability which has a direct impact on the financial and custody liabilities.
While the firm does provide some direct audit service, the primary functions are provided to other CPA firms through, concurring partner, quality control, and peer reviews, and specific technical accounting issue support.
Business and financial planning
Our considerable experience outside of the US makes us particularly qualified to provide non-tax planning to business and individuals who’s income and business operations are both in and outside of the US.
